Set out on a speedboat tour that combines Boka Bay’s most iconic sightseeing with a cinematic “secret history” moment. Your route includes Our Lady of the Rocks, a swim stop at the Blue Cave, and a visit to the submarine tunnels once used to shelter military vessels.

Start with Our Lady of the Rocks, the famous church on an artificial island near Perast. Hear the local legend of two brothers who discovered a Madonna and Child icon – an event that inspired the island and church built on this very spot.

From there, cruise through the bay’s dramatic scenery, including the narrow Verige Strait, before heading toward the outer bay. You’ll pass Mamula Island, known for its striking fortress history, and continue along the coastline of the Luštica Peninsula.

Next comes the highlight for many guests: the Blue Cave. Stop to enjoy the vivid blue water and take a refreshing swim (conditions permitting).

Meeting point

Your tour starts in City Park (Park Slobode 1), located just 200 meters from the Main Gate of the Old Town and within a short walking distance from the Port of Kotor. Guests arriving from a cruise ship: After leaving the ship and passing through security, turn left. When you reach the small bridge, turn left again towards the park. Near the seaside, you will see an information desk where our skipper and staff member will be waiting to welcome you. Please be at the meeting point at least 30 minutes early. If you miss the tour, you can join the next available slot as agreed with the operator. If you’re arriving by car, we recommend allowing extra time for your journey. Heavy traffic is expected around the park, which is also your tour’s starting point, along with delays caused by ongoing roadworks on the main road.

The island itself can still be visited even if the church/museum is closed.
What to wear: In spring and autumn, it can feel chilly on the water-bring a light jacket or warmer layer.
Weather policy: The tour may be canceled or rescheduled if weather or sea conditions are unsafe.
Parking in Kotor: Summer parking can be very limited -arrive early if you’re coming by car.
Church dress code: If you plan to enter the church, swimwear is not permitted, bring a cover-up or suitable clothing.
Skip-the-line note: “Skip-the-line” does not apply at Our Lady Of The Rocks (it’s a small church and entry is usually quick)
